Vivo HealthStaff is excited to announce an opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to join an established practice in Western Illinois. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in a supportive and state-of-the-art environment.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering both inpatient and outpatient services, with a focus on delivering high-quality care across a range of OB/GYN procedures and services.

Required Procedures:

  • Fetal monitoring
  • Management of low-risk pregnancies, including histories of twins, toxemia, and pyelonephritis
  • Fetal heart rate interpretation-NST/CST/FSE
  • OB ultrasounds-performance and interpretation
  • Routine delivery-vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
  • Complicated delivery-C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Office/minor gynecology-procedures including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP
  • Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures-tubal ligation, LOAs, chromal tubation
  • Operative/major procedures-ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs

Facility Features:

  • Modern birthing center with 16 LDRP rooms
  • Level II Nursery and dedicated surgical suite
  • Outpatient office located on campus
  • Rotating call schedule of 1:4
  • Partnership with local FQHC for community care
  • Support from seasoned RNs and staff

Practice Statistics:

  • Goal of 3 physicians with support from APPs
  • 40-50% low-risk pregnancies, 50-60% high-risk pregnancies
  • 30% C-section rate
  • GYN surgery and patient volume tailored to physician's comfort

  • Demonstrated experience with the required conditions and procedures - REQUIRED
