Position Overview:The Beneficiary will play a senior leadership role in designing, implementing, and managing the end-to-end DevOps strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management required to support client's 5G R&D and wireless solutions. Working within a global, intrapreneurial team, the Beneficiary will perform applied research and advanced engineering to build groundbreaking 5G technologies from the ground up, assess competition, and generate intellectual property As the primary owner of all DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure operations for the project, the Beneficiary will lead activities to implement strong automation strategies across development teams, support developers, and manage both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and system reliability.
Responsibilities:Understands trends in partnership with senior leadership develops the strategic direction for technology initiatives Participates and presents at Customer Executive Briefings Provides organization-wide expertise and leadership in the design and development of next generation initiatives Generates IP including multiple invention disclosures per year and patent filings Ability to represent the company by presenting in public forums, contributing to technical publications, and leading in strategic industry forums Provides mentoring and leadership in the client technical community Writes technical papers (e g , white papers) that clearly articulate industry and company trends in technology and solutions Impact across product lines Owner of complex systems or solutions Key Responsibilities: 1. Infrastructure Management & Cloud Orchestration:Kubernetes (K8s) Management: Drive containerization and orchestration strategies using Kubernetes. Design, deploy, scale, and maintain high-availability Kubernetes clusters to support 5G OAM and infrastructure softwareInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Own the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and network management across development, test, and production environments.Ensure environment consistency, security compliance, and optimal resource utilization across all development and deployment infrastructure. 2. End-to-End CI/CD Pipeline Design & Automation:Pipeline Development (Jenkins): Design, implement, and maintain scalable, declarative CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to support 5G development teams from code commit to deployment.Advanced Scripting: Write, optimize, and maintain extensive automation scripts using Groovy (specifically for Jenkins Shared Libraries and pipeline customization), Python, and Shell/Bash to automate manual processes and optimize build/release workflows.Automate integration, regression testing, and deployment verification processes to improve release speed and reliability. 3. System Observability, Monitoring & Logging (ELK Stack):ELK Stack Implementation: Design and maintain a robust logging, monitoring, and alerting architecture using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).Configure system and application logs, establish performance dashboards in Kibana, and set up proactive alerting mechanisms to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues rapidly. 4. Technical Leadership & Collaborations:Team Leadership: Lead the DevOps team, define technical solutions, oversee implementation, and ensure the timely delivery of 5G OAM and infrastructure software projects.Developer Support & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers on DevOps best practices, git workflows, and integration pipelines.Collaboration & Design: Review and create technical design documents for 5G OAM software, implement unit testing strategies, and align with global product, development, and QA teams. #LI-PG1#LI-ONSITE
