Job description

The Behavioral Health Emergency Department RN delivers specialized care to high-risk mental health patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises. Our team is dedicated to providing therapeutic nursing support in a safe, structured environment to help stabilize patients and develop effective, individualized care plans. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the crisis team, psychiatric and emergency providers, ED nursing staff, care managers, and security personnel.
The ideal candidate is passionate about psychiatric critical care nursing, skilled in building therapeutic relationships with both adult and adolescent patients, and knowledgeable in crisis prevention and intervention strategies. This nurse will confidently apply de-escalation and safety techniques to manage psychiatric emergencies independently, while consistently upholding each patient's rights and dignity.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
BSN preferred. Minimum 2 years current nursing experience. Behavioral health experience preferred. BLS. Current NH RN License.
Compensation
  • Minimum Pay: $39.29
  • Maximum Pay: $55.34
