Livestock Nutrition Center specializes in blending customized rations, supplements and premixes to meet the specific nutritional needs of Livestock Producer's operations. We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Our focus is to provide customized feeding programs, nutritional products, and expert service to livestock producers that promote their long-term success and profitability.
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative of Manufactured Supplements is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound finished product logistics while providing high-quality service and support to customers, as well as the sales and operations teams. This position will ensure customer and LNC location's satisfaction by executing sales orders, accurate contract execution, and strong customer communication while being a liaison for sales, logistics and operations teams.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist Sales team by servicing and growing the customer base
  • Learn, support, and effectively communicate LNC programs including formulation systems and product recommendations.
  • Provide daily feed price quotes and assist with delivery scheduling.
  • Monitor customer contract execution and ensure fulfillment.
  • Complete daily data entry into contract management systems: Sales Orders (SO), shipment data, and contract balances.
  • Process sales orders accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain regular contact with assigned customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Support customer onboarding and relationship-building activities.
  • Maintain Veterinary Feed Directives (VFDs) and ensure documentation stays current.
Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service through timely, accurate, and courteous communication
  • Demonstrate the ability to gather and, with assistance, analyze client or prospect information.
  • Maintain internal and external professional relationships that exemplify core company values.
  • Strengthen communication between Sales, Operations, and in-bound Logistics
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable inquiries and customer account issues.
  • Work with third party manufacturers to ensure timely ordering/ delivery of finished goods.
  • Openly communicate with all LNC facilities on current status of orders (third party or direct)
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all work performed.
Logistics Customer Support
  • Negotiate and schedule inbound and outbound deliveries of finished products to meet customer and LNC location's expectations with support from Supply Chain Logistic team.
  • Support rail logistics including daily communication with local rail providers for inbound/outbound finished product shipments.
  • Coordinate load planning to maximize freight, minimize cost, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Assist with truck, rail, and barge shipment logistics.
  • Support development and maintenance of logistics and contract reports.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Logistics and Operations teams for support as needed to ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Assist with high-volume phone activity and routing of calls.
  • Provide general administrative support as assigned.
Other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of logistics, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Agricultural experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • High proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with truck scheduling, freight rate negotiation, or rail logistics is a plus.
