A nurturing job typically refers to a role centered on caring for and supporting the growth and well-being of others. These jobs can include positions in childcare, education, nursing, counseling, or elder care, where empathy, patience, and communication skills are essential. People in nurturing jobs help individuals develop emotionally, mentally, or physically, often forming strong, supportive relationships. These roles are vital in society, promoting healthy development, healing, and overall well-being.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a nurturing professional?

To excel in a nurturing role, such as a caregiver or early childhood educator, you need a foundational understanding of child development or caregiving practices, often supported by relevant certifications or training. Familiarity with first aid, CPR, and child safety protocols, as well as record-keeping systems, is typically required. Patience, empathy, strong communication, and the ability to build trust set outstanding nurturing professionals apart. These skills ensure the well-being, safety, and healthy development of those in your care.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in nurturing roles, and how can they be managed effectively?

Job description

Work Location: In person (hybrid)

Come build something real at a fast-growing tech startup, where your work on day one actually moves the business. We're looking for a Lead Nurturing & Website Data Specialist to own the product side of our customer journey: product data, emails and notifications, and the growth features that guide people through Atom.

The Role

As our Lead Nurturing & Website Data Specialist, you'll own the product-side of how customers experience Atom: the data that shows us how people actually use the platform, the emails and notifications triggered by product behavior, and the growth features that guide someone from their first domain search to becoming a customer. This is a hands-on, technical role. You're not just planning a roadmap; you're deep in the analytics, the triggers, and the product decisions that come out of both.

What you'll do:

  • Own product analytics and instrumentation: define events, track key funnels, and monitor usage data
  • Build and manage automated emails and notifications triggered by product behavior (onboarding, activation, re-engagement)
  • Design and ship growth-oriented product features that guide users through their journey inside Atom
  • Partner with engineering to implement tracking, triggers, and in-product growth experiments
  • Analyze product data to identify drop-off points and opportunities to improve activation and retention
  • Prioritize and ship product-side journey improvements in partnership with design and engineering

What you bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, growth product, or a similarly technical, data-driven role
  • Experience owning product analytics and instrumentation (event tracking, funnels, dashboards)
  • Experience building or managing automated product emails and notifications
  • Comfort working closely with engineering on both data and feature work
  • Strong analytical skills, and comfort turning product data into a prioritized roadmap
  • High ownership mindset: able to drive the product side of growth independently

Bonus: experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4), notification/automation platforms, or building growth features at a marketplace or SaaS company

Why You'll Like It Here

  • Real ownership of the product side of the customer journey, not a slice of someone else's roadmap
  • Direct collaboration with our founder and leadership team on product strategy
  • Early-stage exposure to building an AI-first product from the ground up
  • 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off

About Atom

Atom is an AI-native premium domain marketplace and ICANN-accredited registrar, built for startups and established businesses ready to secure a strong name, build a stronger brand, and grow faster toward success. We're a fast-growing tech startup that moves quick, ships constantly, and is built for people who love creating something new and aren't afraid to try things nobody's tried yet, and this role is a chance to own the product side of that journey from the ground up.

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Vision insurance
