Hondros College of Nursing is currently looking to build a bench team for our growing Nursing programs at all of our campus locations. Hondros is a great place to work if you are seeking a fulfilling yet challenging career opportunity in a growing fast paced nursing program! We offer flexible work schedules, and our Instructors receive ongoing training and support to build upon their teaching, presentation and mentoring skills.

Instructors will work in either a clinical or lecture setting and are responsible for teaching courses in a variety of modalities while promoting and supporting the vision and mission of Hondros College of Nursing.

Day, evening & weekend schedules are available!

Full & Part Time Clinical Instructors will:

  • Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
  • Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
  • Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
  • Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate each studentโ€™s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
  • Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.

Full & Part Time Lecture Instructors will:

  • Instruct students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical settingย 
  • Promote a positive learning environmentย ย 
  • Work collaboratively to assure full implementation of the curriculum
  • Participate as members of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees
  • Recommend strategies for student successย ย 
  • Tutor students to assist in meeting course objectivesย ย 
  • Implement the clinical experience component of the program, if applicable
  • Evaluate each studentโ€™s achievement and progress and provide valuable feedbackย 

Requirements:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN) is required.
  • Clinical Faculty must have three or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
  • Lecture Faculty must have at least three years full-time experience in the practice of nursing as a RN (or part-time equivalent).ย 
  • Active RN license that has never been encumbered in state of campus to be employed (OH, IN, MI)
  • Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
  • Current/Active American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.ย
