To thrive as a Nursing Helper, you need basic patient care knowledge, physical stamina, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with some employers requiring completion of a nursing assistant training program. Familiarity with basic medical equipment, electronic health records, and infection control protocols is often necessary. Compassion, attention to detail, and strong communication skills help you effectively support patients and collaborate with healthcare teams. These abilities are vital for ensuring patient comfort, safety, and the smooth functioning of healthcare environments.
