Job Title: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Neurology

Work Environment: Outpatient Neurology Clinic

Travel Required: None / Minimal

Salary / Hourly Rate: $120,000-$170,000 annually

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant provides comprehensive patient care within an outpatient neurology practice. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with neurological conditions while collaborating closely with physicians and the clinical care team to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient neurology setting.
  • Evaluate, assess, and manage patients with neurological conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Order, interpret, and review appropriate diagnostic testing.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely within the electronic medical record.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
  • Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
  • DEA certification
  • Neurology experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
