At The Regency Skilled Nursing & Therapy, a Bridges Health community, we want to help qualified nursing leaders grow. Our Director of Nursing in Training Program is designed to find tomorrow's leaders today!
Program Objectives
The Director of Nursing in Training will be tasked with learning how to:
  • Conduct the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate programs to measure, assess and improve care quality.
  • Prepare for and participate in facility surveys.
  • Recruit, train, retain and nurture staff, primarily nurses and nurse aides.
  • Ensure a compliant staffing plan.
  • Set goals, establish priorities and coordinate and manage the policies and resources needed to meet those goals.
  • Manage budgets and implement expense controls.
  • Oversee employee conduct.
  • Maintain awareness of and respond to incidents at the facility.
  • Communicate with the medical director, physicians, hospitals and vendors.
  • Manage facility operations in the absence of the Administrator.
  • Other tasks and training as assigned.

Experience and Education
  • Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Two (2) or more years Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing environment experience.
  • Supervisory experience in Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care.
