Do you love working outdoors and are passionate about trees, plants, shrubs or lawn care?We are seeking a motivated and dependable seasonal Nursery Assistant to join our busy tree farm and nursery operation. This position is responsible for supporting daily nursery operations through hands-on horticultural work, plant care, inventory management, order fulfillment, and general nursery maintenance. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in maintaining healthy plants and an organized work environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with the care and maintenance of nursery stock, including trees, shrubs, perennials, and seasonal plant material.Water, fertilize, prune, and monitor plant health to ensure quality growing conditions.Pull, stage, and load customer orders accurately and efficiently.Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming plant and nursery inventory.Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with periodic inventory counts.Support bulk material operations, including loading and assisting with deliveries of mulch, soil, rock, compost, and other landscape materials.Operate nursery equipment and tools safely and efficiently.Maintain nursery grounds, greenhouses, growing areas to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment.Monitor and report plant health concerns, pest issues, or irrigation problems to management.Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: Valid driver's licenseBasic knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, and horticultural practices is a plus.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Hours - Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm About the CompanyLandscape Consultants is a premier landscaping company providing superior craftsmanship and high-quality materials.
