Nurse Practitioner Pharmaceutical professionals are advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) who work within the pharmaceutical industry. They use their clinical expertise to support drug development, clinical trials, medication safety, and patient education. These nurse practitioners may be involved in research, regulatory affairs, medical writing, or serving as liaisons between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers. Their unique combination of clinical knowledge and industry experience helps ensure that new medications are safe, effective, and used appropriately.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a nurse practitioner in the pharmaceutical industry?

To thrive as a Nurse Practitioner in the pharmaceutical industry, you need advanced clinical expertise, a graduate nursing degree (MSN or DNP), and nurse practitioner certification, often with experience in research or drug development. Job description

Endorsed Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

G'day, we're Mosh & Moshy.

Our mission is to get Aussies the best possible health outcomes through best-in-class health programs.

We know the current healthcare system isn't meeting the needs of the modern Australian, and we reckon there's a better, more holistic way. Our programs across hair loss, sexual health, skincare, mental health and weight management are easy, accessible and completely discreet.

More than a job

There's nothing better than knowing the work you're doing matters and makes a genuine difference. We're pretty lucky that, at Mosh & Moshy, this is the norm rather than the exception.

We're looking for an endorsed Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, evidence-based care at an advanced nursing level. Working remotely as part of our multidisciplinary clinical team, you'll help improve patients' access to healthcare and support them throughout their treatment journey.

Reporting to our Clinical Operations Manager, you'll combine strong clinical judgement with clear, compassionate communication to deliver a seamless telehealth experience.

What you'll do

As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll:

  • Consult with new and existing patients via telephone and video, providing education, clinical advice and support
  • Manage patients' ongoing treatment plans, including assessing their response to treatment
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and adjust treatment where clinically indicated and within your scope of practice
  • Triage presenting symptoms and escalate or refer patients to the appropriate medical practitioner or pharmacist
  • Collaborate with medical practitioners, pharmacists, allied health professionals and our wider Clinical Operations team
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and uphold our clinical governance and code-of-conduct requirements
  • Share insights and feedback to continually improve our clinical systems, workflows and overall patient experience

Experience you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

  • A completed Master of Nursing and current endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
  • A current PBS prescriber number, or the ability to obtain one
  • Recent experience working as a Nurse Practitioner within primary healthcare
  • Strong clinical judgement and a commitment to safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care
  • Confident, clear and empathetic communication skills, particularly in telephone and video consultations
  • The ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment
  • Confidence navigating digital clinical platforms, documentation systems and telehealth tools
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve patient care, systems and processes

What's on offer

We hire people who share our values, believe in our mission and are passionate about the future of healthcare. Some of the reasons our team loves Mosh & Moshy include:

  • A fully remote role with the flexibility to work from home, within Australia
  • Meaningful work that makes a real, positive difference in patients' lives
  • Plenty of opportunity to learn and grow as the company evolves
  • Access to up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Two additional paid company closure days each year
  • Two days of purpose leave for mental health or learning and development
  • Access to on-demand learning through Go1
  • EAP support and online wellbeing programs
  • ClassPass credit discounts
  • Discounts across a range of Mosh & Moshy products and services
  • A creative, friendly and collaborative team

Better, together

Everyone is different, and we think that's what makes life interesting. We believe our differences generate better ideas, bring valuable perspectives and help us represent the people we care for.

If you're excited by the opportunity but don't tick every single box, we'd still love to hear from you.
