💰 Pay Rate: $100–$130/hr

Position Overview

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA to provide inpatient coverage due to a vacancy. The provider will support cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery services, including first assisting, postoperative rounding, and clinic coverage as needed.
 

Key Responsibilities
 
  • First assist during cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery cases
  • Vein harvesting experience required
  • Radial artery harvesting experience preferred
  • Perform inpatient postoperative rounding and patient management
  • Provide clinic support as needed
  • Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC/Health Connect
Requirements
  • Active Oregon (OR) license required
  • Board Certified
  • Cardiothoracic/cardiovascular surgery experience
  • Vein harvesting experience required
  • First-assist experience
  • BLS & ACLS – American Heart Association
  • Vaccination preferred; waivers considered

  • May float between Mt. Talbert/Westside and Sunnyside based on case volume
