As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your role will center on providing therapeutic care to individuals and families grappling with complex emotional and psychological challenges associated with terminal illness. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the emotional and psychological needs of patients and their families.
• Crafting comprehensive treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices and incorporate client input to foster engagement and buy-in.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and industry standards, ensuring confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Providing educational resources and support to patients and their families regarding mental health, treatment pathways, and available community resources.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development through literature reviews, case consultations, and supervision, ensuring integration of the latest research into therapeutic interventions.
• Managing a full caseload of clients, striving to meet established treatment goals and adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

You will primarily work with patients experiencing terminal illnesses and their families, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and grief. Our focus is not only to alleviate mental health challenges but also to enhance the quality of life for patients during their final journey, ensuring they receive compassionate and dignified support.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including direct service provision of psychotherapy.
• Solid understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and their application in a hospice setting.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to connect with diverse populations.
• Proficient problem-solving abilities with a keen insight into assessing and addressing client needs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Familiarity with the unique challenges and emotional needs of clients facing terminal illnesses.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
