Bring Better to the Bedside as a Hospital Medicine Nurse Practitioner in Macon, Georgia at Piedmont Macon Northside

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of 2 physicians and 4 APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside.
  • Work alongside one MD/DO hospitalist during the day, rounding on an average of 12 patients/day.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified NP.
  • Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • 12-hour day shifts with a doctor for collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidates must be comfortable with an open ICU with tele-Intensivist backup.
  • See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists available in a small community-based hospital.
  • Work in coordination with a tele-intensivist with the doctor handling all procedures, codes and rapid, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical decision-making.
  • Utilize EPIC with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
