Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Numerical Control Programmers (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
  • CATIA/ENOVIA
  • IVT
  • REDARS

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. Ability to create 3D models from 2D drawings. Has working knowledge of Photo Contact Masters (PCM) and mylars. Experience with aerospace tooling, GD&T, and fixture design. Works under general direction.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT; ust be available for all shifts (1st, 2nd and 3rd) as well as weekend or daily overtime.
ADDITIONAL
This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted prior to a start date.

  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
