POSITION SUMMARY: Inspect parts, monitor processes, assemble, and package various plastic components.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adhere to and comply with all written GMP/Safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform changeover duties as required.
  • Complete required Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks as assigned.
  • Accurately complete required reporting; including data entry.
  • Fill and empty boxes, totes, gaylords, and stack them by hand on pallets.
  • Monitor part quality, machine performance rates and complete required production reporting documentation.
  • Perform routine quality checks utilizing visual quality standards as assigned.
  • Participate in PEAK initiatives as directed.
  • Keep a clean work area, machines/equipment and sustain 6S principles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • All job functions to be completed in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, company guidelines and policies.

REPORTS TO: Manufacturing Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION LEVEL:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Communicate effectively both written and verbal.
  • Complete and pass required medical screening.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
  • Basic math and reading
  • Basic computer skills
  • Procedure comprehension
  • Ability to adapt to changing manufacturing priorities, including overtime schedules.
  • Ability to achieve and consistently perform at required manufacturing rates
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to stand up to 90% of the shift.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to frequently bend and twist and have unrestricted use of upper extremities
  • Push/Pull up to 200 pounds.
