Job Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine
Schedule
  • Regular schedule: Monday-Friday, 5x8
  • Orientations: Reduced Non-Billable Orientation for approximately 2 weeks, shifts likely from 08:00 to 16:30.

Assignment Details
  • Typical daily census: 5-10 patients; up to 15 PET scans per day.

Requirements
  • Required: 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
  • Required certifications/licenses:
- State Nuclear Medicine license (must be in hand)
- NMTCB or ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Preferred: Cardiac nuclear studies experience, PET/CT experience.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform general nuclear medicine studies and PET/CT imaging.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care and procedures.

Compliance / Notes
  • Must provide Social Security Number and Date of Birth during compliance.
  • References: 2 required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years.
  • RTO (requested time off) must be included at the time of submission.
  • Candidates must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
  • Pre-start modules required (approximately 16 hours, completion recorded).
