This is a 13-week contract position with a Day 5x8-Hour schedule from 09:00 to 17:30, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays are required. Optional call shifts are available.
Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing PET scans and other nuclear medicine procedures. Previous experience is preferred, but willingness to train on-site is available for suitable candidates.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct PET scans and other general nuclear medicine studies.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Obtain patient histories and provide education regarding procedures.
  • Ensure proper patient safety and comfort during nuclear imaging procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification required.
  • California State License must be in hand.
