This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Nuclear Cardiology TechnologistShift Details
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Some procedures may run through 4:30pm EST
  • No on-call or weekend requirements
  • Shift: 5x8.0
Location

Job Duties
  • Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining safety at all times
  • Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radio pharmacy operations working within the NYSDOH guidelines
  • Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
  • Partner with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and continuously enhance lab protocols
  • Uphold ICARE values - Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence - in every aspect of your work
  • Perform SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis, and hybrid SPECT resting studies followed by PET sarcoid or viability studies
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
  • Minimum 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience
  • NYS Radiology Technologist License
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program
Required Skills & Certifications
  • 2 years of Nuclear Tech experience
  • NYS License
  • ARRT Certification with CE credits
  • BLS Certification
  • Cardiac Imaging experience - minimum 6 months
