Job Description:

The Planner's primary duties will involve outage planning. They may also be tasked with planning online and emergent work, including work at other nuclear facilities.
 

  • A Nuclear Scheduler Planner is a critical role responsible for the strategic planning, sequencing, and documentation of maintenance and operational work within a nuclear power plant.
  • This role interfaces with various plant departments to ensure the timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and operational schedules.

As for duties and responsibilities, this is what we have for a Planner:

  • Plan and organize preventive and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment and systems
  • Creates clear and concise work instructions that are sequenced in a logical, efficient manner
    Ensure work instructions are performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Reviews and interprets Engineering Change implementation requirements
  • As required, conducts field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective and preventative maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities
  • Coordinates with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering on work instruction requirements
