Job description

Position Summary: The Clinical Instructor is responsible for the hands-on training and professional development of students in the imaging technology division. They coordinate clinical practice at the hospital with academic classes at the affiliated community college(s). This role functions as the Clinical Instructor for all modalities, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine, providing direct supervision of clinical experience in General Radiology, and coordinating the clinical experience for MR, CT, US and Nuclear Medicine with the respective department Leads.

Position Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of technical experience as a radiographer, including proficiency in General Radiology, Fluoro and OR
  • Previous experience in the Clinical Instructor role preferred
  • Strong human relations, communications, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, both personnel and operations.
  • Complete knowledge of all computer systems (PACS, EPIC)
  • Valid ARRT registration
  • Valid IEMA license where applicable.
  • Valid CPR registration
