Job description

Position Description:

NPower Solutions is seeking an experienced Nuclear Mechanical Planner to support the high-profile restart of Three Mile Island (now called Crane Clean Energy Center) in PA. This assignment will be focused on work packages required to safely bring the facility back online.


The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented planner with nuclear maintenance planning experience and strong proficiency using Asset Suite 9 (AS9).


Schedule:

  • Start Date: August, 2026
  • End Date: June, 2027


Overview:

The Mechanical Planner assignment will include creating, revising, editing, and planning mechanical order packages and work orders.


Essential Functions:

  • Develop and prepare detailed mechanical work packages and work orders.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and Work Management to ensure work packages are complete and executable.
  • Identify required materials, procedures, labor resources, and sequencing.
  • Maintain planning documentation within Asset Suite 9 (AS9).


Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Mechanical Planner in a commercial nuclear power plant.
  • 10 (+) years of related experience in Operations, Maintenance or Projects.
  • Level 200 Qualifications.
  • Strong proficiency with Asset Suite 9 (AS9).
  • Knowledge of nuclear maintenance planning processes and work management.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Constellation/Exelon Nuclear experience.


Physical Demands:

This position is primarily office-based with occasional work in an industrial nuclear power plant environment. Duties require prolonged periods of sitting, frequent computer use, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. The selected candidate must be able to walk through plant facilities, climb stairs, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. All work must be performed in accordance with applicable safety, security, and radiological protection requirements.
