NSUs, or Network Services Units, are devices or modules used in telecommunications and networking to provide specific network services such as routing, switching, or connectivity. They can be physical hardware components or virtualized software units, depending on the network architecture. NSUs play a crucial role in managing network traffic, improving efficiency, and ensuring reliable communication between different network segments. Their specific functions vary based on the provider and network requirements, but they are essential for modern data and voice networks.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a network support engineer, and why are they important?
