Job description

Sales Planning Analyst

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish pre-sales goals and targets for each region, aligned with corporate objectives
  • Track and monitor achievement ratios on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Conduct daily analysis of regional sales results and identify performance gaps
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive sales performance reports to upper management
  • Develop ad-hoc reports upon request from other divisions or executives
  • Generate monthly closing order lists for each region based on projected sales
  • Prepare and issue broker commission statements to customers with accuracy and timeliness
  • Collect, consolidate, and validate sales activity data from all regions
  • Develop and finalize weekly and monthly sales reports for NSA and senior leadership
  • Organize, structure, and finalize promotion plans in multiple phases (basic, detailed, final)
  • Oversee promotion activities across regions and ensure proper execution and follow-up
  • Collect and review promotion expense reports from each region
  • Consolidate and prepare monthly and quarterly final approvals for upper management
  • Conduct ROI analysis on promotional activities to guide future planning
  • Support sales administration activities, including clearing old AR partial balances
  • Maintain and update master sales data, including customer and sales personnel information (e.g., COD lists, contact details)

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in sales planning, sales operations, or business analysis preferred (internships or academic projects also considered)
  • Language: Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English required
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (MES or SAP PP module is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools)
  • Ability to prepare clear reports and present findings effectively to internal stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with sales administration processes and data management is a plus
