Job Summary
Nothum is seeking a skilled welder to work in a team environment, assisting in the welding process for large-scale machinery. This role requires precision, strong attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding processes for large-scale machinery.
    • Ensure assigned weldments are completed accurately and efficiently.
    • Measure and square assemblies for proper alignment.
    • Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions; seek clarification when needed.
    • Execute physical tasks including standing, stooping, bending, sitting, and crawling.
    • Lift and move up to 50 lbs; heavier loads require assistance.
    • Utilize required PPE, including safety glasses, weld hood, and steel toe boots.
    • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
    • Tier 1 Responsibilities: Weld out frames, weld AcuFeeders, install doors, and heat exchanger stacks.

Qualifications

  • Prior welding experience (TIG preferred).
    • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
    • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
    • Understanding of welding safety procedures.
    • Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
    • Must complete a weld test as part of pre-employment screening.
