Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead and manage assigned team(s) and/or support staff by providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure successful execution of departmental goals.
  • Oversee quality functions and projects within assigned team.
  • Collaborate with leaders to define and align quality efforts with the organization's technical and business strategies.
  • Conduct research for quality activities including development of new manufacturing processes.
  • Manage the full employment cycle of direct reports including career development, succession planning, employee engagement, and creating a strong culture of innovation and learning.
  • Provide final decisions within assigned quality team to achieve business objectives.
  • Financial analysis and review of assigned quality team impact on the organization.
  • Adhere to all safety practices and support safety related activities.
  • Maintain and continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) to compliance to ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820 and other requirements.
  • Ensure that customer requirements are understood and achieved including interfacing as needed.
  • Prepare and present report-outs to management.

Skills:
  • Proven experience in successfully leading teams within manufacturing field focused on quality.
  • Strong ability to provide strategic direction for multiple teams and develop other leaders.
  • Able to work dynamically and collaboratively across multiple teams with minimal direction.
  • Able to oversee the management multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection procedures, blueprints/GD&T, geometrical tolerance, and metrology.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence within organization and externally.

  • Safety Mindset: Consistent usage of required PPE and safety procedures for tasks being performed.
  • Experience: Demonstrated longevity of at least eight consecutive months in previous employment. Top Candidates will have: working experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Time Management: Reliable, on-time attendance record; Ability to efficiently reach productivity goals.
  • Adaptability: Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures; Ability to work overtime when required; Eagerness to learn processes and procedures in multiple areas.
  • Collaborative: Promote a culture of teamwork where we help each other to learn and meet shared goals.
  • Communication: Share information clearly, listen to understand, resolve issues through open dialogue, and use communication tools to stay connected. Must be able to read, write and conduct business in English with or without reasonable accommodation.
