Job description

Northgate Resorts owns and manages the most awarded Camp-Resort portfolio in the nation. Our passion is creating family camping memories for our guests – memories that will last a lifetime! The Business Analyst will utilize their analytical skills to assist the revenue team in managing Northgate Resorts' 9,000+ cabin, RV, and tent sites across 35+ locations. This role will support pricing, inventory management, systems management, forecasting, and strategic revenue growth through high-quality data analysis, performance, evaluation, and system optimization. This is a full-time position reporting to the Revenue Manager.

DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly reports on site revenue, retail, food amp; beverage, and other revenue centers
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support planning and operational decision-making
  • Build and maintain data models to support performance analysis and scenario planning
  • Analyze historical performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting across business units
  • Support inventory management, pricing strategies, and demand planning efforts
  • Identify and escalate issues with data integrity or operational inconsistencies
  • Leverage Python or other data programming languages to automate data gathering, transformation, and reporting workflows
  • Summarize key insights and present findings to internal stakeholders
  • Support cross-functional projects and departmental initiatives
  • Building out the backend of reservations management systems and point of sale systems
  • Interfacing with park employees on questions, programs etc.
  • General administrative duties and data entry
  • Participates in other projects and activities as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in data analysis, statistics, finance, accounting, computer science, business, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
  • Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Data Modeling, Array Formulas, Charting)
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (G-Suite)
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with reservation, POS, or pricing systems is helpful but not mandatory
  • Strong experience with data modeling and forecasting techniques in Excel or similar tools
  • Proficiency with Python or similar data programming languages for automation and data processing tasks
  • 1–2 years of experience in a data analysis, business analysis, or hospitality operations role preferred
