Schedule:32-40 Hours Weekly - Day Shift - Variable  

Sign-On Bonus: $6,750 Sign-On Bonus (Terms and Conditions Apply)

Job Description

A Day in the Life 

  • As a Medical Assistant in our Mobile Hearing Lab, you will complete clinical and administrative tasks within the Mobile Hearing Lab.  
  • You will be solely responsible for the Mobile Hearing clinic. You will oversee all marketing, processing results, onsite testing across Northern Michigan in a company provided truck. You will also fill in for Occupational Health clinics across the region. 

  • You will assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care which can include assisting fellow teammates and providers when necessary. 

Qualifications

What's Required  

CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
  • Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
  • BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
  • Chauffer License Required

NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
  • One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.
  • BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
  • Chauffer License Required
