Job description

Northern Light Health is seeking an experienced Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing Cardiology practice at Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital in Ellsworth, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality cardiology in a supportive, community-based setting while enjoying an outstanding work/life balance along Maine s coast.

Position Highlights:

  • No night or weekend call
  • 4-day workweek designed to support work/life balance
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology
  • Join a collaborative team of 1 full-time Cardiologist and 3 experienced Advanced Practice Providers
  • Established referral base with strong primary care and specialty support

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of non-invasive cardiology conditions
  • Interpret echocardiograms and other onsite diagnostic studies
  • Evaluate and manage patients in the clinic and hospital setting
  • Provide daytime call coverage only
  • Partner closely with APPs to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care

Compensation Information:

  • $600,000 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity and quality incentives.
  • The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
