This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security camera systems and access control technology for commercial storage facilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain security cameras, access control systems, and related hardware/software.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve system malfunctions or connectivity issues.
  • Ensure proper wiring, networking, and integration of security systems into existing infrastructure.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize system performance.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to complete installations accurately.
  • Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure system functionality meets requirements.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and industry regulations.
  • Train customers and team members on proper use and maintenance of security systems.
  • Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation for all projects.
  • Travel to various job sites within Southern California as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Experience working with security camera systems and access control technologies (Hikvision, Axis, Avigilon, Honeywell, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage wiring, networking, and electrical components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair security system issues efficiently.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with IP-based and analog security systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.


Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in commercial construction, security system installation, or facility maintenance.
  • Certifications in security systems, access control, or low-voltage wiring (preferred but not required).
