The Technical Specialist serves as the technical expert for our nora rubber flooring portfolio, partnering closely with both customers and the sales team to ensure successful product installations. By providing guidance, troubleshooting, and technical support, this role helps deliver outstanding customer experiences and contributes to the continued growth and success of the nora business.

  • Proper Management, communication, and documentation of customer complaints to their resolution.
  • Provide reports on major complaints of our competitor products, including vinyl, VCT, VLT and linoleum.
  • Install test floors and/or replace, if necessary.
  • Manage travel within the approved expense budget (additional costs must be approved by the nora Technical Manager).
  • Conduct training in the nora Academy as needed.
  • Provide presentations and demonstrations at the annual North American Sales Meeting and trade shows as needed.
  • Answer the nora technical phone lines and respond to the nora technical mailbox when available to do so.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and ability to use company provided IT tools such as iPhone, iPad, laptop, etc.
  • Ability to travel 60-70% domestically, with occasional international travel and overnight/weekend travel as required
  • Experience with Project management and conflict resolution
  • High diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
