Job description

Job Title: Quality Control Sorting

Department: Quality

Reports To: Director of Quality Assurance / Plant Manager

Prepared By: HR Prepared Date: 8/11/26

SUMMARY:

Reporting to Director of Quality Assurance and/or Plant Manager. This non-union position is responsible for assuring the organization’s quality system activities are producing desired results and to assure manufactured products meet customer requirements.

RELATIONSHIPS: Please see ACC Organizational Chart included in your new hire paperwork for specific relationships.

AUTHORITY: This individual has authority over no other employee but may ask others within the department assigned to assist them with tasks. Please see ACC organizational chart for more detailed information.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 Visual inspection for defined applicable criteria.

 Palletizing and wrapping product.

 Tow motor operation.

 Other duties as assigned by Director of Quality Assurance and/or Plant Manager.

 Arriving at work on time for every scheduled shift. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.

 Ability to write routing reports and correspondence as necessary to properly fill out production reports.

 Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

 Some knowledge of API, ISO 9001 quality systems.

 Metals industry and/or testing experience desirable.


Monday - Friday (may work Saturdays from time to time)
7 am - 3 pm
