This job provides support to the Solar Panel Installation team as an installation and electrical helper. Job Description
*** Must have some construction experience, be good with hand tools, & have an active driver's license***Core Responsibilities
- Assisting electricians and installers during solar installations
- Carrying out tasks such as bending conduit, stripping and terminating wire, and maintaining an organized job site
- Assisting in the installation of solar panel systems, including mounting panels and racking, and wiring
- Using hand and power tools to install racking
- Servicing the solar system as needed
- Laying out and installing conduit, disconnecting switches and junction boxes correctly
- Performing jobs from high places (i.e. on roofs) including climbing ladders with proper equipment and materials
- Adhering to all quality and safety codes
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
