Position: Python Technical Lead – Backend Microservices & DevOps

Location: Sunrise, FL/Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

We are seeking a Python Technical Lead – DevOps with strong experience in software development, distributed systems, and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate should have expertise in both development and DevOps tools, with strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Required

  • 4+ years of commercial software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in distributed and multi-tier systems and application development.
  • Excellent programming skills in Java and Python.
  • Experience in designing and developing APIs, services, and microservices architecture using Spring Boot or Vert.x.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, relational databases (RDBMS), and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools and processes.
  • Experience in automated release management using Maven, Salt, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Good understanding of web technologies such as HTTP and Apache.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to proactively identify process improvements and optimization opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels.
