Job Description:
SUMMARY
Sustains nude and clothed professional portrait poses for art students to observe anatomy and structure to compose artistic drawings and/or paintings.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
  • Sustains a variety of both clothed and nude poses for art students
  • Adapts to a range of portrait poses and instructor direction
  • Professionally and appropriately interacts with students
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS and ABILITIES
  • Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Possess basic knowledge of fundamental Artistic Modeling concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to apply in varied
  • situations as it pertains to the departmental focus
  • Ability to appropriately, sensitively, and professionally interact with instructors and students
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings as needed
  • Possess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of a diverse population

The work is performed in a classroom studio environment;
  • The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated;

  • Typically, the employee will be required to perform and sustain quick, energetic poses
  • Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite
