Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Part Time on Call (PTOC) employee to drive strategic initiatives and new business pursuits at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), with a particular emphasis on Huntsville and CJIS. The successful candidate will have leadership experience and an in-depth knowledge of the organization, strategy, and IT modernization goals of the FBI. Specific experience and expertise with FBI enterprise information technology services as well as the FBI's IT services build-out in Huntsville is required. Services will focus primarily on federal law enforcement and national security use cases, with the ability to bridge gaps between innovative technological solutions and critical national security needs and fostering long-term value for both clients and government.

The candidate will perform the following activities, as requested:

  • Providing in-depth government agency subject matter expertise and leveraging specific operational and investigative technology subject matter knowledge to align capabilities with requirements
  • Providing high-level, nuanced business development executive advisory services while delivering in-person and virtual "trusted advisor" support for crucial senior executive and management engagements within FBI divisions
  • Executing targeted tactical business development efforts, offering RFI, RFQ, and RFP support and review to maximize success, and providing post-award implementation support to help clients transition from contract win to operational success.
  • Interface with the client leadership to align GDIT capabilities and strengths to meet mission needs
  • Develop and leverage relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Strengthen alignment of GDIT organizational capabilities to client needs
  • Participate in planning meetings with GDIT personnel
  • Provide written summaries, descriptions, and brief analyses of topics requested by the GDIT program team
  • Engage in ad-hoc phone calls with the GDIT program team about different FBI and law enforcement topics.
  • Review draft white papers, solutions, proposals, and other documents and provide feedback to the GDIT program team as requested
  • Providing leadership across the new business development lifecycle - from opportunity identification, qualification, and win strategy development through the post-submission phase of the Capture process
  • Participate in all phases of the capture and growth life-cycle, providing the "voice of the customer", including reviews and proposal and content development

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, 15+ years of progressive Federal Law Enforcement leadership experience
  • Experience and expertise with FBI information technology services
  • Strong strategic development and implementation experience
  • Experience with the federal proposal processes, delivery and execution
The likely salary range for this position is $34,000 - $46,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
