Job description

The Building Technician completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.

Hourly Pay Rate: $35.00 weekly pay
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Required:

  • Formal knowledge of HVAC Components (VAV's, Air-Handlers, Pumps, unit ventilators, etc.)
  • Experience that is commensurate with the specific facility for the position of Building Engineer
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • As required, highest-level relevant state/local license for Stationary Engineer and/or HVAC, plus universal level refrigerant recovery license
  • Computer skills and building automation systems experience required.
  • Certification meeting OSHA ACM awareness training requirements as required.
  • EPA 608 Certified (preferred)

Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures 
Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities 
Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessary 
Assist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed
