Description
Position: Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Job Type: Full-time
A Level I Trauma Center in western Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a hospital-employed surgical team. This opportunity offers a high-acuity trauma practice, strong APP support, advanced surgical technology, and academic engagement through collaboration with residents and medical students.
• Hospital-employed orthopedic trauma position within a Level I Trauma Center
• Manage a wide variety of trauma cases including acute and elective surgical procedures
• Access to advanced surgical technology including Mako robotic-assisted surgery
• Strong APP support and collaborative multidisciplinary trauma team
• Opportunity to teach residents and medical students within an academic environment

Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical license and DEA certification
• Comfortable performing complex trauma procedures including pelvis, acetabulum, periarticular reconstruction, and non-union management
• J-1 visa sponsorship available (Conrad 30 and ARC pathways)
