Trivoli Tavern,a part ofHogsalt,is looking for a dedicated and experienced Full Time Bar Prepto join our team!

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant; experience working in a bar is preferred.
  • Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and stooping.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all stations are properly stocked and set up before and during service and complete any additional opening duties, including stocking wine/beer/liquor, ice, service wares, bar supplies, and any other items as outlined in the Hogsalt training program.
  • Observe all safety procedures, including following Hogsalt protocol for food allergies and dietary restrictions.
  • Complete all closing duties including closing sidework, general cleaning projects, and any additional tasks assigned by leadership.
  • Prepare cocktail batches and ingredients needed for menu items according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests
  • Enforce proper product rotation (FIFO), utilization, and par-level maintenance across all bar inventory to minimize waste and ensure product freshness
  • Uphold food safety, sanitation, and quality standards in accordance with local health codes and Hogsalt guidelines; maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the shift
  • Receive, verify, and organize all incoming deliveries, including alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, dry goods, and non-perishables to ensure accuracy against invoices and promptly escalating any discrepancies
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with FOH, BOH, and management teams; ability to give and receive direction in both written and verbal form
  • Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
