Job Description
Follow instructions to perform a variety of duties in a dining hall or related facility.
Education and Experience
The ability to read, write, and follow instructions; record temperatures on dish machines, freezers, etc.
Skills and Knowledge

Responsibilities
  • Load and operate a dishwashing machine.
  • Remove and store washed dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, etc.
  • Wash pots, pans and cooking utensils.
  • Mop floors, wash walls windows, cabinets, shelves, equipment, etc., including locker room and bathroom areas.
  • Clear and clean tables and dispose of trash and garbage.
  • Observe safety and health regulations and maintain highest standards of sanitation.
  • May move materials into and out of storage area.
  • May fill milk and beverage dispensers and replenish as needed.

Physical Requirements
On daily basis standing, bending, stooping, walking, and lifting between 15-30 pounds. Must be able to work with dust, fumes, and solvents daily.
Tools/Equipment
Will be required to learn to operate a variety of equipment including dish washing machine, buffer, vacuum cleaner, and use mops and brooms, etc.
