POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide strong and reliable assistance to the COCBE by the following inher/his absence.  The present officecomprises of the COCBE and an executive assistant that is shared with theOffice of Mission and Identity.  The positionwould provide continuous support and sustainability when the COCBE is absentfrom the office (either on campus or outside of the university setting).
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with the design and implementation of cultural programming related toCommunity Building and Engagement.

Assisting in theimplementation of programming and trainings, along with presentation

Assists withevents, special projects (logistical and programmatic).

Assist withorganizing and obtaining information to provide for various reports (outsideand university wide).

Assists with thedevelopment, implementation, and maintenance of the Bias Education AwarenessTeam (BEAT) data for institutional reports.

Participates incollege and university committee activities in the absence of the COCBE.

Handles andmanages confidential and sensitive matters coming from the COCBE Office, alongwith Cabinet level information.

Assists withevents, special projects (logistical and programmatic).

Completes otherduties as assigned.
