Location: Mercy Hospital St. Louis
Schedule: Full Time | Night Shift

What You'll Do
*Provide high quality care for intermediate acuity patients transitioning from critical care to Med/Surg level.
*Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using evidence based practices.
*Perform accurate hand offs and bedside shift reporting to maintain patient safety.
*Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and multidisciplinary partners to optimize patient outcomes.
*Administer medications, monitor complex conditions (cardiac, respiratory, post ICU), and support recovery.
*Participate in huddles, shared governance activities, and unit-based quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
  • BSN preferred.

Licensure

  • Current Missouri RN license or compact license.

Certifications

  • Required: BLS (American Heart Association).
  • Preferred: ACLS, NIHSS, PCCN, or other Stepdownrelated certifications.
