Moody Mental and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) to join our innovative telehealth team. This is a remote position, providing you with the flexibility to work from home while engaging with clients through secure telehealth platforms. • Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' unique experiences and develop appropriate, personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs, integrating their cultural and personal contexts into the therapeutic process.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on addressing diverse mental health concerns and fostering resilience and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
• Offer crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, utilizing active listening and de-escalation techniques.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources to promote ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Engage actively in case conferences, interdisciplinary team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance professional development and teamwork.
• Stay informed about the latest research, mental health best practices, and significant cultural factors impacting therapeutic outcomes.

As part of our therapeutic team, you will have the chance to work with clients facing unique challenges shaped by their cultural identities, social circumstances, and life experiences. • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
• A deep understanding of cultural competencies and their application in therapeutic settings.
• Diverse experience in mental health counseling with a focus on populations facing systemic barriers to care.
• Treatment proficiency in evidence-based approaches for the management of various mental health disorders.

• Experience in a telehealth setting, familiar with digital communication platforms and the nuances of virtual therapy.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus, enabling you to better serve non-English speaking clients.
• Prior experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
