When you join the Care Runners EMS family, you’ll be working at an institution that provides non-emergency transportation to citizens across Georgia. We provide our team members with the environment and support to do amazing work because of the vital role we play and our commitment to the communities we serve.

Care Runners EMS is hiring a Licensed EMT-A or B/EMR to help serve a critical need for our elderly and disabled members, pediatrics , and events operations and in communities across Georgia.

Pay: $18:50-$21.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Provides safe and efficient transport of the patient while constantly monitoring the patient
  • Provides basic first aid, records patient vital signs, oxygen levels, and other pertinent medical data and information
  • Provides any appropriate continuing care within the limits of license and certification
  • Provides careful handling of the patient when moving them to the ambulance vehicle
  • Provides orderly transfer of the patient to destination
  • Reports needed equipment and vehicle repairs to appropriate supervisor
  • Upon arrival at destination with patient, responsible for cleaning, restocking basic supplies and placing the unit back in service as soon as possible
  • Maintains a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times
  • Ability to adapt and accept other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid State of Georgia EMT Certificate
  • Valid State of Georgia Driver’s License
  • Acceptable MVR for insurance purposes
  • Current CPR/Healthcare Provider Certification
