As our Fire Suppression Technician, you will be responsible for a wide variety of in-field fire services such as installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and fire suppression systems including vehicle suppression, kitchen suppression, industrial suppression, and clean agent suppression systems at commercial, industrial, and institutional sites.


What You'll Do:

  • Verifying conditions of suppression system, including validation of installation compliance and component location;
  • Test, replace and repair system components;
  • Perform all mechanical and electrical tests required to certify proper system operation;
  • Assess equipment, environment and operating conditions;
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and operational/product manuals;
  • Evaluating plans, customer requests, code, and non-conformance issues to determine specific solutions and recommendations for customers and management;
  • Install systems according to manufacturers instructions;
  • After installation, validate system operation;
  • Preparing stock materials for daily execution of assigned work orders and optimizing material utilization;
  • Completing daily reports of completed work orders and activities;
  • Ensuring safe work practices are followed safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job;
  • Mentoring other team members including trainees and field service labour; and
  • Participating in 24/7 on-call/call out emergency service.

En tant que techniciens en extinction d'incendie, vous serez responsable d'une grande varit de services d'incendie sur le terrain, tels que l'installation, l'inspection, l'entretien, la modification et la rparation d'quipements de protection contre les incendies et de systmes d'extinction d'incendie, y compris les systmes d'extinction pour vhicules, cuisines, industries et agents propres sur des sites commerciaux, industriels et institutionnels.
