Job description

Job Summary:
Join our client's team at Stockton, CA - a leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for military engines and accessories.
As a Non-Destructive Testing Technician (NDT Tech), you will conduct vital tests on turbine engines and components using Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle methods. Reporting to the Director of Quality Systems, you will examine structures for anomalies, interpret findings, and ensure compliance with technical orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct non-destructive testing on parts to identify porosity, fusion, depth, cracks, and other defects.
  • Inspect various structures including welds, castings, and machined components.
  • Interpret testing results accurately to accept or reject items according to technical guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and support efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Perform setup, daily checks, and maintain process performance standards.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing.
  • ANST Level II certification preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required; AA degree a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
