Job Classification: Regular Full-time Location: Butlerville, IN (Muscatatuck Training Center) Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years in cyber range or computer testbed configuration Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Management, or related discipline; Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT II requirements Brief Description of the Work The Senior Network Engineer III leads all technical efforts concerning planning, development, implementation, problem resolution, and administration of MACC-TTE networks. This position serves as the primary technical expert regarding network system policy and short/long-range planning, defining future roadmaps, and making strategic recommendations based on alternative analyses. Required Skills & Experience * Minimum 10 years of experience in the configuration and operation of cyber range or computer testbed environments.
* Expertise in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs utilizing bare-metal and virtualized systems.
* Proven experience providing enterprise network engineering and support for a distributed test range facility, including creating and planning policies/procedures.
* Direct experience configuring and managing specialized Department of Defense nodes, such as the Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR) node among others. Desired Skills & Preferences * Experience working with wireless infrastructure supporting 802.11x, 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G wireless technologies to support range wireless networks.
