Are You a Senior Software Developer Ready to Build Modern Cloud Applications Using AWS and Microservices?
QSSHire is seeking a Senior Software Developer (SME) to support the development and operation of enterprise-scale cloud applications for a mission-critical customer. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining modern microservices-based applications while collaborating with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
Working within an Agile environment, you'll leverage modern web technologies, AWS cloud services, and software engineering best practices to develop next-generation applications that support evolving customer requirements.

In This Role, You'll:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices within AWS environments.
• Develop scalable and maintainable application logic using JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to define, develop, and deliver new customer capabilities.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing software applications.
• Develop technical documentation for new features, enhancements, and system functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software design and architecture discussions.
• Support continuous improvement efforts through modern software engineering best practices.
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing cloud applications.

You'll Succeed Here If You Have:
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required to start.
• Ten (10) or more years of professional experience in software development or application engineering.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience developing and deploying applications within AWS cloud environments.
• Experience designing and supporting microservices-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
