Part-Time CDL Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate


Location: Hiram, GA


Schedule: Part-Time | 1–2 Days Per Week | Home Daily


Pay: $28–$32 per hour

Potential to grow into a full-time delivery position


Pirate Laboratories is looking for a dependable, professional CDL Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to handle local and regional deliveries from our warehouse in Hiram, GA and assist with day-to-day warehouse operations.


This is a part-time position averaging approximately 12–20 hours per week with no overnight routes.


Our drivers are an important face of our company. You'll interact directly with our car wash customers, so we're looking for someone who is clean cut, courteous, professional, dependable, and comfortable providing great customer service.


Delivery Responsibilities


  • Arrive at our Hiram warehouse and prepare for the day's delivery route.
  • Load 30-gallon, 15-gallon, and 5-gallon chemical containers onto the delivery truck.
  • Safely secure products for transport.
  • Safely transport products to car wash locations throughout the region.
  • Unload containers individually using a drum dolly.
  • Dolly products into each customer's designated backroom or chemical storage area.
  • Verify deliveries against paperwork to ensure products and quantities are accurate.
  • Obtain customer signatures confirming delivery.
  • Pick up eligible empty 30-gallon drums from customer locations.
  • Secure empty drums on the truck and return them to our Hiram warehouse.
  • Unload returned containers into the warehouse drum corral.
  • Keep the delivery truck and delivery equipment clean and organized.
  • Represent Pirate Laboratories professionally during every customer interaction.





Warehouse & Order Fulfillment Responsibilities


When not making deliveries, this position will assist with customer order fulfillment, receiving incoming freight, and general warehouse operations.


Responsibilities include:


  • Pull customer orders accurately according to order paperwork and pick lists.
  • Stage completed customer orders in the designated loading area for upcoming delivery routes.
  • Verify products, quantities, and container sizes before orders are loaded.
  • Organize staged orders by customer and delivery route to help ensure accurate and efficient loading.
  • Load staged customer orders onto the delivery truck and properly secure products for transport.
  • Assist with unloading incoming trucks and freight deliveries into our warehouse.
  • Safely operate a forklift, electric pallet jack, pallet puller, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Move pallets and chemical products to designated warehouse storage areas.
  • Assist with receiving and organizing incoming inventory.
  • Verify incoming products and quantities against shipping or receiving paperwork as needed.
  • Help maintain accurate and organized product locations within the warehouse.
  • Follow proper procedures for safely handling and storing chemical products.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, staging area, and loading area.

Required Experience & Qualifications


  • Valid CDL and appropriate driving qualifications for our delivery vehicle.
  • Clean and safe driving record.
  • Previous forklift experience required.
  • Previous experience operating electric pallet jacks and pallet-moving equipment required.
  • Experience loading and unloading commercial trucks or trailers.
  • Comfortable safely moving palletized freight in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to safely perform a physically demanding delivery and warehouse job, including moving 30-gallon drums with a drum dolly.
  • Ability to load, secure, unload, and move freight safely.
  • Strong attention to detail when pulling orders and verifying products and quantities.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a delivery route.
  • Friendly, polite, clean, and professional when interacting with customers.
  • Willingness to follow company safety, warehouse, load-securement, and chemical-handling procedures.
  • Forklift certification preferred; must be able to successfully complete company-required forklift training and evaluation.
  • Hazmat endorsement required.





Schedule


This position will initially average approximately 1–2 Days | 12–20 hours per week. Hours will include a combination of customer delivery routes, order pulling and staging, warehouse receiving, and general warehouse work.


Delivery days and hours may vary depending on customer orders, incoming freight, and route schedules.


There are no overnight routes & no weekends. Drivers begin and end their day at our warehouse in Hiram, GA.


As Pirate Laboratories continues to grow its distribution operation, this position has the potential to develop into a full-time delivery role.


Compensation


$28–$32 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, endorsements, warehouse equipment experience, and driving record.
