Have you ever wanted to become a professional truck driver? Ingles Markets is excited to announce the return of our driver development program! No experience necessary! We'll pay for you to get your CDL-A! Join our dynamic transportation team for an exciting new career opportunity today!
Minimum Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean motor vehicle history report
  • No DUI
  • 21+ years of age
  • Mandatory background check and pre-employment drug screen

About the Program: The primary truck driving school is located at TransTech in Fletcher, NC. Certain candidates can be accommodated by attending Newton or Caldwell County driving schools. Candidates will be paid while attending 4 weeks of schooling.
Position Highlights:
  • Earnings: Candidates are paid $22.00 an hour while attending school.
  • Schedule: Candidates must attend a total of four weeks of full-time truck driving school, tuition is paid for by the company. Following school, candidates must log 100 hours of driving time with a training instructor before they are cleared to drive independently.

Responsibilities: Candidates must sign a one-year contractual agreement with the company before school tuition is paid. If the candidate resigns prior to that period, the candidate is then liable to pay back the full cost of tuition.
