These entry-level meteorologists often possess relevant education, such as a degree in meteorology or atmospheric science, but have not yet worked in a broadcast setting. They may begin in smaller media markets, working under the guidance of experienced colleagues, and gradually build on-camera skills, forecasting abilities, and audience communication.
